When COVID hit, there was insufficient protective equipment available, so we wanted to help to supply the hard-working staff members at the local seniors homes. We teamed up with a couple of local organizations, and with the generous support from our partner company Greenland Group we set to work on production by 3D printing Face Shield. Last count, close to 1000 pieces were supplied to seniors homes in Simcoe County. The Community Spirit certainly continues to be alive and well in Collingwood! At the same time we were able to help establish links with companies and groups we had established connections with in the Kitchener/Waterloo area through our membership with Communitech.
